 CHAPTER 1:NEW SESSION

From last week Rupesh was not interacting with his friends in class, and had excluded himself from his friend circle. No one in his group was aware about his rude and suspeciopus behaviour.

Due to final board exam preparation school was giving extra class for the 12th class students.

One morning, while 1st lecture in the classroom the famous Trio group of the medical section was found to a bit more talkative by the teacher present in the lecture, she said “Raj, Pawan and  Rishab Standup!

The teacher had decided to change their sitting arrangement for this, Raj was ordered to sit with Sahil sharma, and Rishab was ordered to exchange seat with Rupesh. 

Teacher ordered Rupesh to sit with Pawan!

Pawan to Rupesh: My friend what happened to you why are you not tallking with us?

Rupesh: I will say you later!

He was unwillingly sitting with him, meanwhile he was thinking about the past when he met with his new friends one year back.

It all started from the school  “CONVENT OF  VIDYABHARTI SENIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL, DELHI”. It was the starting of new session of class 11th after the declaration of the results of class 10th.  At very first day Raj and Rupesh saw each other in the same class in the morning both of them had been enrolled for  medical science ( PCB). Rupesh and Raj were very good friends since class 8th.  And a few new students were also there in the class.

Raj opted hindi as an additional subject on the other hand I had Mathematics as additional subject.

But the subject Biology united them together to remain in the same section.

Raj to Rupesh;

“Bro it’s a pleasant surprise we are again in the same class”.

Rupesh: Yes, now tell me where we are going to sit?

With a short  smile Raj said, “Don’t forget we are the backbenchers and will sit only at the last benches in the class”.

Rupesh: Yes! Said happily.

They decided and sat to the last second bench of the window side row of the benches.

A bit later, a girl enters the class and looks towards Raj and Rupesh with a smile. She was lean, attracted and bold, she was none other than Prakshi, she was the friend and classmate of Raj and Rupesh, Three of them were friends from class 10th. But Raj and Prakshi are an ideal best friends, such that no one can break their friendship anyhow!

Prakshi: “Both of you are also here! Said to Raj and Rupesh”.

Both boys; yes we are here! 

They were  gossiping, Meanwhile, those people heard a voice of a girl, she was Juhi, having a thin specs! She was glad to meet their old classmates in the same class on the very first day of the new session. 

Till then it was about 8:00 am and it was the time for the arrival of the teacher for the first class. A teacher entered the classroom with the attendance register. She was our chemistry teacher. 

Teacher: Students sit down on your respective benches first, I am Netra Bhatt, I am assigned as your class teacher and I will be teaching chemistry. 

“but before we start with first chapter, first of all introduce yourself first one  by one”.

Students started to introduce oneself and then a boy stand and introduced himself as Pawan sharma, and he told that he got 70% percent in class 10th. 

Pawan was the new student in the school and class, he was a chubby and healthy boy with a round specs, he was sitting alone on the second bench. 

Within few ,moment it was my and Raj’s turn to introduce ourselves to the teacher! We introduced ourselves and then the class started and after 40 minutes class ended. Meanwhile a boy was trying to outshine himself, to this Pawan said with an aggressive voice “ hey you don’t try to make noise by your loud voice”.

By seeing this I felt that, he sounds to be more studious and over aggressive and has a unworthy attitude.

Then I noticed a girl staring towards our bench, she was Kiran(I got to know her name when after 2 days of starting of the session)  then I told my friend Raj “brother you got the jackpot, the girl with the blue specs is continuously starting on you.

To this a big smile with a curiosity was on Raj’s face. Then he showed a bit interest to find out which girls is doing so.

At every day and class lecture I use to say him the same sentence and a smile comes at his face.

3-4 days of the new session was spent as usual. 

Then one day, we (Raj and me) were sitting behind Pawan, casually we were talking during class and then in free time we introduced ourself to each other. Due to the first day’s offensive nature I was not trying to talk with him openly and comfortably.

Next day in the morning we were in the assembly ground before going to our classroom. There the boy Pawan came and greeted me with a smile and hand shake. I found him a bit different and cool guy than I noticed him the class.  I found assumption was wrong for him he was really funny and open minded and a curious and was like a true backbenchers. But the strange thing about him was he always use to alone in the class. Initially I found him a bit introvert. 

Same day a student familiar to me was also there in the class, She was Pratima; my best friend. Me and Pratima are best friends since class 9th, I met her in the tution classes she was in 9th -D section and I was in the class 9th-B. From tution classes our friendship started and still we are best friends. I introduced her to my friends.

Same day it was my mathematics class while my other friends who have hindi as an additional subject have to take Hindi class. 

For attending mathematics class, me and my few classmates go to non medical  section to  attend mathematics class, There was a classmate named Sahil sharma he sat as with me in the maths class to share textbook of mathematics for there our friendship started and in the same way he introduced and get familiar with my other friends in the class.

One things is very necessary to mention about him that he always use to stay away from the girls and even don’t like to talk with them.

 We came to know about this fact when one of our group member shared his water bottle to a girls so that she could drink some water, it was really shocking that he broke his water bottle after knowing that a girl has touched his water bottle. 

But on the other hand he really cares about his friends and for them he could do anything. 

One of the most interesting character of our group is Rishab, he is the kind of the person who relates everything  to sex.  But his most sensible, funny, daring and was a kind of personality who use to speak anything without any hesitation. Most imporatantly he has full support of his family.

Friends are everything for him.

 

From that day everything was going on smoothly and happily. Friends were enjoying their days freeely and happily.  

But a big and massive problem was awaiting for them.

CHAPTER 2: RIFT IN FRIENDSHIP

 It was the winters, when  one day  just after the recess break our chemistry teacher along our chemistry teacher came in our class and asked for some students named Ankit, Sanket, and Kajal they were taken to the principal office.

We all were thinking about why they were taken to the principal office?

Meanwhile, within the fifteen minutes our principal Rakesh gupta, physics and chemistry teacher  along with Ankit, Sanket, and kajal; arrived in the classroom and the present teacher of the class was ordered to leave the class for a while.

Then the principal asked something;

Principal: Standup whoever sits around or nearby to Ankit, Sanket and Kajal.!

Then few students stood on their respective bench who used to sit around them in the class.

Principal: I think everyone in the classroom would be knowing why am I here in your classroom, yes or no?

Students: No sir!

Principal:  oh! But I thought you all might be knowing, what about those students who sits around these students in the class?

One of the girl named Arpita standing among the students said; yes sir I know what the matter is!

Principal: Then please tell to your class!

Arpita: one day ago the boy ankit and Sanket humiliated this girls Kajal by saying very rude and harsh words!

And used some abbusive words too!

Principal: This, matter is really serious and is fact to think how could you  use  abbusive words to any girl just to humiliate them!

For a while keep this matter aside and tell me the names of those students who uses abbusive words in the classroom?

But no one said anything? 

For handling this the principal used and gave alternative to know the name of those students. 

Principal: everyone pickout a single page and write the names of those students who used to say abbusive words in the class!

And you all are free to write “I have no objection if you reall don’t have any!”

After 5 minutes pages from every student was picked and and opened and read by the teachers  who found some similar names in almost in around 7 pages. 

The names were of Raj, Pawan, Rishab. 

After this they were asked to standup and then asked about them in the class and with the teachers about how they behave in the class and how they treat teacher in the class.

Chemistry teacher: Sir the boy Raj is good at studies but I was anaware about his such bad phase.

But Rishab is bit naughty and indiciplined student! 

While Pawan is good but he would be in these things is really shocking for us!

Then the same question were asked to the other students in the class particularly  girls were tageted by principal to get answer to his questions.

Girl sitting at front bench of first row stood and said yes sir they use abusive words in the class but Pawan and Raj uses less words as compared to Rishab. 

Same reply were received from almost every girl in the classrom except one.

It was prakshi who said yes sir they uses abusive words in the class, but what about the girls who do the same?

Why only they are targetted? All the other students in the class are there in the class who also uses abusive words, I think almost everyone who is present in the class.

Meanwhile there was a slow and quite discussion was going on within the group of the Raj and their other fellow friends.

It was decided that in any case no other member of our is allowed to expose themselve as guilty.

Principal: Three of you come forward and stand beside me. 

All them done the same and then:

Principal:  Tell me the names of other member of your group. 

But all three of them remain quite!

It was the worst trick of the Principal to  deal with the case. 

Those three were trapped in the worse situation without any fault. 

Me as writer also agree that using abusive words in the class was wrong but they had never used these words to trouble anyone intentionally!

Principal of this school always use to dictate other staff and students he never used to listen one’s views. 

They were suspended from the class untill they don’t call their parents to meet the Principal. 

Meanwhile the boy Ankit was also calling himself as innocent but the principal was not ready to listen anything. They all were taken to the Principal office meanwhile the teachers remained in the class and started to scold the students and then they found 2 slips in which it was written 

“yes I don’t have any objection with those who uses abusive words”

It was the pages of Jatin and Rupesh, Jatin is was also a parts of that group and was very intelligent and studious too.

Teacher: Jatin and Rupesh please standup.

They stood at their place.

Teacher:  both of you don’t have any objections why?

Rupesh and Jatin:  because they don’t uses any wrong word publically and not for any girl too! 

Teacher: so if you want to stick on your so called friendship then be there but one day both of you will be in trouble!

Both teachers left the class and remainder lectures were taken as usaul.

Meanwhile there was a serious discussion were going on among four of the students in the class they were Raj, Pawan, Rishab and Sahil,

Few stuents from the class were called to Principal office they were Ankit, Sanket, Kajal and Prakshi.

In the principal’s cabin:

 Prakshi was again asked about say about their behavour in the class!

Prakshi: sir no one is bad they all are good but I accept they uses abusive words but another fact is also here that they never used any wrong words to say to anyone intentionally to harm  or insult anyone!

Next day parents of Raj, Pawan, and Rishab came to meet the Principal any they were told about their childrens behavoiur and and were allowed to go to class but with accepting sorry in written.

From  that they a new group originated in the class named Trio group. They boycotted almost everyone In the class. Specially the firs bencher who were like the pests on the whole class they always interefare in other’s works.

It was very crucial time when a shocking news came in the class. That the boy ankit who was suspended for humiliating the girl in the class with his words was not  a real accused he was called again in the school and their parents were really felt shamed on the worst decision of the principal.

Their parents came with the police in the school and the police started to interrogate the girl any the Boy Ankit, Sanket and arpita who gave a supporting statement for the girl.

After an interrogation of about 1 hour it was found that the girls accused the boys only for her ego problems.

Police filed an fir aginst the girl after the statements of Ankit’s parents and police also arrested the principal whose wrong decision has almost ruined the life of an innocent one!

But on the other hand old group of Raj , pawan and Rishab were somehow distorted. Any created a communication gap between them. 

From there some kind of distances occoured betweeen those friends and a new Group was in the frame everytime, “Trio”.

This was turning point from where the group of nearly 6-8 friends were divided and some small groups was found to be formed.

Rupesh was continuously busy in thinking about every past moments, meanwhile he heard a voice, “Rupesh are you listening to me or not where is your attention” 

it was the voice of the chemistry teacher who was scolding him!

He was totally unaware the the 4th lecture has started by now and was almost to end in about 5-10 minutes.

Then he was ordered to go and stand outside the classroom as he was not mentally present in the class. 

After 5 minutes the recess bell rung and teacher went outside the classroom after it Rupesh entered the class and put his book and notebook in the bag. He was about to leave the class for spending his 30 minutes of time alone  in the ground, but suddenly he heard a voice of someone calling him, come lets go to the grond we want to talk with you.

CHAPTER 3: CAUSE OF ISOLATION

After hearing the voice Rupesh turned behind and looked towards from where the voice came, it was Raj his friend. He agreed to go with thme to the ground for what they want to talk. 

Since it was the recess time so there was a lot of students in the ground at that time they searched for a empty place of the ground that was just infront of the canteen. In a group of around 6 member wew moved to that empty area. That time there was Pawan,Rishab, Raj, Sahil, Uday and me.

Raj: what happened to you why are you behaving like the stangers to us? He asked to Rupesh.

first he was not willing to reply the true fact so he gave a non acceptable answer.

Rupesh: Nothing just having some family problems that’s why I am not able to talk with anybody.

Raj:  No, I can’t believe that having any family problem would restrict you to talk with us!

Rupesh: okk, then listen the truth, a week ago when we were standing at the same place and having talks and gossips in the group, I was also trying to talk with you all!

“but I felt that you are ignoring me, that why that day I left the discussion in between and went to class”

Raj: Now you listen to me , the time when we were presented as the guilty last year in the class, only Prakshi and sahil were here who saved us from that fake case!

Since then, our trio formed and thus we don’t try to give any attention to the person who were not with us in that hard time!

Same words were said by Pawan and Rishab to Rupesh.

After this Raj replies that we don’t want you to leave our group, you are my friend sice class 8th.

Rupesh: I can understand but I left that group that time because I felt that my presence or absence would not affect the group anyhow!  

After this we all felt regret for our cause to each other and we reunited.
